Appeal for the Health Seeker
AYUR-HEALTH
Welcome to AYUR-HEALTH-WORLD. We are running a rat race in this modern era sacrificing our health. Diseases not only deprive one off the health, but also deprive off even the life. Hence it is very important to maintain health and avoid diseases.

According to Ayurved life is the union of four factors the body, the senses, the mind & the soul. So care of all these factors is necessary for maintenance of health.   Maintenance of health of a healthy person & curing of diseases of a patient are two objectives of Ayurveda

To achieve this, swasthavritta (Regime for maintenance of health) in the form of Dincharya i.e. daily regimen & Rutucharya i.e. seasonal regimen has been elaborated in the texts. Following are the factors, which are important for maintenance of health.

1. Ahara that is food habits -
Our body gets nourishment from the food material. If the food habits are proper, then nourishment is proper. Since the body is made up of food material, it is almost necessary to maintain proper food. Improper food leads to diseases.
The body gets generated from Ahara i.e. food & even diseases also originated from food. People are now increasingly becoming aware of the food habits. People are now increasingly becoming aware of the food habits.

2. Activities or behavior -
Vihara is another important factor in the form of activities or behavior. Our nature of work, the timings of work, timings of food, sleep, other activities like exercise etc. play important role in maintenance of health. One has to closely watch them & if they are improper should correct them.
3. Psychological factors -
In this era of competition; stress, anxiety, anger, fear, depression are very much common & have become part & parcel of life. These factors have to be kept under control, otherwise they lead to various psychosomatic diseases, such as hyperacidity, heart diseases, diabetes, hypertension, insomnia & even to cancer etc. Yoga provides better solution to handle these problems more effectively with Asana, Pranayama, Dhyana (Meditation) etc. Proper thinking & using these factors for our improvement in positive way, is the answer to these factors. This technique has to be learnt for maintenance of health.

5. Exercise -
Exercise is well known for maintenance of health. Unfortunately very few people practice it. Exercise gives strength and resistance for diseases.

6.Sleep and relaxation -
Body requires rest. In old days, our activities used to start with sunrise and end by sunset. Night was meant for sleep and relaxation. Now with the invention of electricity, we have converted nights into days and we find people who are workaholic. The over strain leads to serious diseases like hypertension, heart diseases etc.  That’s why; we see untimely deaths due to heart attacks. Sleep and relaxation are a must for maintenance of health.
7. Abhyanga or massage -
Massage with oil, should be a regular activity throughout the life. Unfortunately, this is very much neglected. Massage gives relaxation to both the body and the mind. It gives strength, produces sound sleep, delays ageing process and plays curative as well as preventive role, especially in diseases caused by vata dosha. So massage should be regularly practiced for maintenance of health.

8. SAD-VRITTA - (Rules for good conduct)
Indian philosophy is very generous and takes care of all living beings. Hence as a part of daily regimen, simple rules for good conduct have been explained. These also help lot in maintenance of health.

9. Proneness to diseases -
We inherit strength or weakness from our parents. If our parents are weak or having hereditary diseases like diabetes, cancer etc., we are prone to those diseases. The derailed lifestyle, addictions like tobacco, alcohol etc. worsen the situation. We become prone to certain diseases. It is always better to prevent them rather than trying to arrest or cure them after they catch hold of us.

Considering all these factors, we have created a programme that makes an assessment of the health status and makes suggestions to correct or to improve the life style in Ayurvedic Perspective. We have identified service providers like Ayurvedic physicians, Yoga teachers / Institutions; Modern diagnostic centers, Counselors, Masseurs, Ayurvedic Dietician, Health clubs or Gymnasiums and even Astrologers. One has to become a member of the association by paying Rs. 500/-as annual subscription fee for first year and Rs. 300/-per annum for subsequent years (three years Rs. 1,000/- & five years Rs. 1,500/-). The program, through a questioner will assess the health status in Ayurvedic Perspective and will guide for improvement. This is basically meant for primary or secondary prevention of diseases. Especially when the conventional treatment of the Cancer in the form of Surgery / Chemotherapy / Radiotherapy is over, there is a disease free state, where it is not known, whether the eradication of malignant is complete or not. There are always chances of recurrence of the disease. One should improve the Life Style in Ayurvedic Perspective with proper food etc. to reduce the chances of the recurrence. This is even true for Heart diseases even after Bypass. This program will definitely help to improve health status in Ayurvedic Perspective & prevent the secondary onset of the Heart Disease. The program also identifies possibility of a Heart Disease at primary level & suggests measures to prevent the onset. Not only that, this can also help even in disease condition to know the causative factors, for avoidance of them & to cure the Heart Disease on the basis of Holistic Ayurvedic Treatment. The services made available are useful for cure of disease as well, but the basic intention is maintenance of health.

We want to create healthy society through Ayurveda, Yoga etc.  So the massage should spread all over the world. For this we are extensively using internet and there will be a mapping of service providers in a country wise manner. Ayurvedic pharmaceutical companies are also involved in the project for provision of health products. The members will get a concession of 10% from the service providers for any service during the tenure of their membership. So join this movement of healthy society and  propagate the idea for better future.
